(KINMUNDY, IL) — A 25-year-old homeless man is in the Marion County Jail after he reportedly fled from police Sunday in Kinmundy. Kinmundy police reportedly attempted to stop Saul Bujanda on an outstanding Kansas City warrant but he instead led officers on a foot chase down an alley near the IGA store. Bujanda refused to stop and was tasered the first time, with the hit knocking him to the ground. Despite the jolt, he allegedly struggled while being handcuffed and ran another 20 feet before finally giving up. When he was finally taken into custody he was allegedly found to be in possession of narcotic pills. The Kansas City warrant has no bond and reportedly charges Bujanda with resisting arrest, aggravated battery to a peace officer, and possession of a controlled substance.
