Kellogg’s Announces Illinois Layoffs

(Woodridge, IL)  —  Kellogg’s is the latest company to close shop in Illinois. The cereal giant this month sent word to the state of Illinois that it plans to layoff 258 people in the Chicago suburbs. Most of the jobs cut will come from Kellogg’s distribution center in Woodridge, but workers in Elmhurst, Oak Brook, and Chicago will also see pink slips. Kellogg’s officials say the layoffs will begin at the end of July.
