(CARLYLE, IL) — Bail has been set at $150,000 for a 40-year-old Carlyle man held in the Clinton County Jail on multiple drug-related charges. Casey Ness was formally charged Wednesday morning in Clinton County Court with Class 1 felony delivery of between 5-15 grams of methamphetamine, Class 2 felonies for delivery of less than 5-grams of meth and possession of less than 15 grams of meth, Class 3 manufacture with the intent to distribute a look-alike substance, and misdemeanor possession of a hypodermic syringe. He was free at the time of his arrest Monday on $2,500 cash bond posted in a 2016 Marion County case charging him with felony possession of meth and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Ness was also free on bond in a 2016 Clinton County case charging him with felony meth possession, and misdemeanor possession of a hypodermic syringe, drug paraphernalia, and cannabis.
