(SALEM, IL) — A 22-year-old Central City man has been sentenced to 4-years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after he pleaded guilty to the lesser felony charge against him that stemmed from a March arrest. Landon Bone was arrested in March and charged with Class 1 felony residential burglary of a home on Colestock Lane near Lake Centralia. He pleaded guilty Tuesday to a lesser and added charge of Class 4 felony theft. He pleaded guilty to the Class 4 felony charge in exchange for the Class 1 charge being dismissed. He was sentenced to 4-years in prison and ordered to pay nearly $4,000 in restitution and court costs. In addition to his prison sentence, Bone will have to serve one-year mandatory supervised release after he completes his prison term.
