(MT. VERNON, IL) — The Mt. Vernon City Council is scheduled to meet this evening. Among items on the agenda, the Council will hear bid results for the Harlan and Brownsville Roads storm sewer project and for the East Last Street storm sewer project. The City Manager will request a final reallocation of funds for the 2016-17 Fiscal Year budget, request permission to seek bids for resurfacing Richview Road, re-open discussion on leaf burning, and provide updates on the 7^th Street rail crossing and the Public Utilities Committee. The City Attorney will give second readings of ordinances regarding an amendment to the rules of public participation and annexing property on Indian Trail to the city of Mt. Vernon, and a first reading of an ordinance amending the number of liquor license creating a restaurant license for Funblasters. The meeting will be at 7 p.m. at the Rolland W. Lewis Community Building.
