Another Downgrade, This Time For RTA 

(Chicago, IL)  —  Another piece of government in Illinois is seeing its credit dinged because of the lack of a state budget. Moody’s Investors Service yesterday downgraded the Regional Transportation Authority’s credit rating. The RTA oversees mass transit in the Chicago suburbs. Moody’s says Illinois’ nearly 14-billion dollars in unpaid bills is continuing to impact other parts of government across the state.
