(Joliet, IL) — No one is hurt following a hostage situation at a hospital in Joliet. Convicted murderer Joshua Matthews was brought to Presence St. Joseph Medical Center on Tuesday. Yesterday, he used a makeshift weapon to take a nurse and a prison guard hostage. A spokesperson for the Illinois Department of Corrections says the situation was under control in about an hour and no one got hurt.
