Body Found In Centreville Garage Identified

(Centreville, IL)  —  The identity of the badly decomposed body that was found in Centreville is coming out.  A child’s body was found in a Centreville garage on Tuesday following a tip from a Las Vegas woman who moved from Illinois two years ago.  She claimed her husband killed her child and dumped the body at the home.  The Las Vegas Police say that the woman contacted them from a women’s shelter.  They say she said her husband has been sex trafficking her and abusing their children.  The woman’s husband, Jason Quate, is being held in the Clark County Detention Center in Nevada.  He claims he never hurt his family.  The “Belleville News Democrat” reports the body that was found in the garage has been identified as Alyssa Quate who police believe died in Belleville in 2013 at the age of six.
