(MT. VERNON, IL) – Community First Bank of the Heartland is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its current incarnation by giving back to organizations in the Mt. Vernon area.  At a press conference on Tuesday morning, Associate Vice President and Branch Manager Bria Ashby announced the launch of the Community Love Campaign to kick off on Friday.  With this summer campaign, 100% of the funds raised will go toward 10 local organizations with a donation match, dollar for dollar up to $10,000.  Businesses participating along with Community First Bank in the campaign include Spartanville Gas Station, Mt. Vernon TV & Appliance, The Medicine Shoppe, King City Books, Uncle Joe’s, and Woodlawn Shell.  These businesses will be selling pledge forms.  The organizations benefiting from the campaign are Jefferson County Sports Authority, St. Mary School, CASA of Jefferson County, Toys For Kids, YMCA, The Amy Center, Angels on Assignment, Lifeboat Alliance, Young Marines, and Park Avenue Food Pantry.
