JEFFERSON COUNTY — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a 29-year-old federal fugitive.

Myron T. Seigart, of Mt.Vernon, is wanted on a Jefferson County warrant for domestic battery and on two outstanding federal warrants for selling drugs and fleeing/fighting federal agents.

Seigart has an extensive criminal history including fighting with police and resisting arrest. Seigart should be considered very dangerous.

If you know of Seigart’s whereabouts do not approach him and call the police. If in Jefferson County call the Sheriff’s Office at 618.244.8004 or the Mt. Vernon Police Department at 618.242.2727.

There is a reward being offered for information that leads to Seigart’s capture.
