Chris Stapleton has abruptly canceled his next three weeks of performances, including his CMA Music Festival appearance in Nashville on June 11th. All shows have been postponed until further notice.
Unfortunately, the next three weeks of “The All-American Road Show” have been postponed. Below is the full list of dates we are working to reschedule. A statement on Chris’ website reads in part, “Unfortunately, the next three weeks of ‘The All-American Road Show’ have been postponed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Hold on to your tickets for now, and stay tuned for updates.” The Country Music Association tweeted news of Chris’ cancellation citing “unforeseen circumstances.”
People.com reports that according to a source, Chris suffered a hand injury.
