(CENTRALIA, IL) — Centralia police are investigating a shooting incident Wednesday night in which fortunately no one was injured but left an SUV riddled with bullet holes. According to reports, the occupants of the vehicle went to the Centralia Police Department to report the shooting. Officers say it’s surprising no one in the SUV was struck, as multiple bullet holes were found on the passenger side of the vehicle. The shots were reportedly fired in the 900 block of East Kell around 11:37 Wednesday night, with occupants in a home where the shots were fired saying they believed they were also shot at. However, officers were unable to locate evidence of bullet holes or other damage to the home. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
