(HARRISBURG, IL) — A Harrisburg physician has been found guilty of attempting to have the prosecutor in his murder case kidnapped.  After only two-hours of deliberation Friday, a Saline County jury returned a guilty verdict on all charges against Brian Burns, who was charged with felony solicitation of aggravated kidnapping, conspiracy to commit aggravated kidnapping, and attempted aggravated kidnapping.  He is accused of trying to pay a man $1,000 to kidnap Michael J. Henshaw, who was the Saline County State’s Attorney. Henshaw has since passed away.  Burns will be sentenced in the kidnapping case on July 25.  He is set for a pre-trial on May 19 in an earlier case charging him with killing his estranged wife, Carla Burns, and burning her body to try and hide it.
