(SALEM, IL) — A DuBois resident is arrested for an alleged burglary of a Centralia home.  25-year-old Alan Middleton was identified as the sole suspect in the robbery of a home on the 100 block of North Cherry Street in Centralia.  The property owner called authorities with a video of the crime being committed.  Due to this video, police were able to identify Middleton as the suspect.  After receiving the video on Monday, police put him into the Persons of Interest system to get the word out.  Sandoval Police found Middleton, picked him up and transferred him to the Marion County Jail.  Bond is set for him at $50,000 and he is going to hire his own lawyer.  He was officially charged with a Class 1 felony count of residential burglary, which could result in a sentence of 4 to 15 years at the Illinois Department of Corrections, if convicted.
