CENTRALIA — Centralia City Schools report finances are in good shape near the end of the school year considering the state is still behind on payments. A report from City Schools Superintendent Craig Clark revealed that the district has received the first payments on categoricals and has scheduled the fourth payment. The state reportedly owes the district over $645,000 for the school year and more than $2 million overall. Confidence is high that CCS will see state aid, but the district is unsure about the rest.
