Documents Give Glimpse Of Rauner Holdings

(Springfield, IL) — New disclosures by Governor Bruce Rauner are revealing that he holds stakes in more than a hundred companies and other business entities. Documents filed by the former venture capitalist and multimillionaire shows that he has positions worth at least five-thousand-dollars in 111 businesses, including the Chicago Bulls and various arms of his old firm, GTCR Partners. Rauner also has a stake in Pangea Properties, the owner and operator of eight-thousand apartments in Chicago and the suburbs, including 12-hundred rented by low-income families with public housing vouchers. Rauner and his wife Diana placed their holdings in a blind trust before he took office.
