(MT. VERNON, IL) — The Mt. Vernon Fire Department will continue fire hydrant testing this week.  The areas tested will be north of Broadway from 27th Street to 42nd Street.  Residents are cautioned that testing can cause discoloration in the water supply in the area being tested.
