(MT. VERNON, IL) — Four Juveniles from the Mt. Vernon area were arrested Wednesday morning on burglary charges.  The Mt. Vernon Police Department responded to a report of a burglary in progress in the 1900 block of Richview Road in which four juveniles were involved. One juvenile male had just left the residence when he was taken into custody by authorities.  After further investigation, another juvenile male and two juvenile females were taken into custody and all four were transported to the Franklin County Detention Center where they will await the formal filing of charges.
