(MT. VERNON, IL) — The Mt. Vernon Fire Department will continue fire hydrant testing this week.  The areas tested will be north and south of Broadway from 34th Street to west of Interstate 57.  Residents are cautioned that testing can cause discoloration in the water supply in the area being tested.
