(CENTRALIA, IL) — A generous donation from the Jefferson County Girl Scouts allowed SSM Health at Home – Hospice to deliver Easter baskets to hospice patients in their nine county service area, including: Jefferson, Marion, Wayne, Edwards, Hamilton, Franklin, Perry, Washington, and Clinton counties. Over 30 baskets, filled with personal care items, Easter treats, and gift items, were donated by the Girl Scouts. The baskets were delivered to hospice patients prior to the Easter holiday.  Chris Hayes, SSM Health at Home – Hospice Branch Manager, stated, “We are so grateful for the ongoing support that we have received from the Jefferson County Girl Scouts. They have been donating Easter baskets to our hospice patients for many years now and these baskets always bring a smile to the face of our patients. They are truly touched to know that others are thinking of them.” This year’s Jefferson County Girl Scout donations are from Norma Dyer’s Troop 8647, Sheila Jolly-Scrivner and her Troop 8643, Ruthie Alexander, Joan Foltz, Clyde Hall and Virginia Hall.
