(MARION, IL) — Marion Police have arrested a Marion man after he was allegedly involved in the shooting of a Paducah man in Marion early Sunday morning. Marion Police say they were informed around 12:20 a.m. that 36-year-old Ray Paul Jordan of Paducah had been shot by 41-year-old Demetrius D. Crittendon of Marion during an argument at the intersection of North Vicksburg and West Goodall streets. Jordan was taken away from the scene and was later found at an apartment in the 700 block of South Bentley Street. Jordan was taken to Heartland Regional Medical Center and later airlifted to St. Louis University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Crittendon is being held at the Williamson County Jail pending formal charge.
