Blake Shelton Reaches Settlement with In Touch Magazine

In 2015, In Touch magazine published a cover story in which it alleged country superstar Blake Shelton was an alcoholic who was going to rehab. Reports have surfaced that documents were filed on April 13th, 2017 in which Blake and the magazine have asked the court to dismiss his defamation lawsuit.

Blake was seeking $1 million in damages and sought an injunction against the publication from printing further defamatory stories. According to sources, In Touch paid Shelton an undisclosed amount of money to end the lawsuit.
