Two Zion Men Accused Of Trying To Help ISIS

(Chicago, IL)  —  Two north suburban Zion men are accused of trying to help ISIS.  Joseph Jones and Edward Schimenti were arrested yesterday morning on charges of conspiring to provide material support and resources to the Islamic State.  Prosecutors say the suspects worked out with an informant at a Zion gym to prepare him for fighting overseas for ISIS.  They’re also accused of going to a local store and buying cell phones that they believed would be used as bomb detonators on the battlefield.
