Man Charged In Deadly Shooting Of Cook County Judge

(Chicago, IL)  —  One man is facing murder and other charges in the shooting death of Cook County Judge Raymond Myles in Chicago.  Police say Joshua Smith has been charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder, aggravated battery with a firearm and armed robbery.  The judge was gunned down early Monday outside his South Side home after confronting a suspect who had already shot his girlfriend.  More charges could be filed in the attack, which investigators believe was a targeted robbery.
