(MARION, IL) — One person was killed when the vehicle they were driving ran off the roadway and struck a tree around 10:30 Sunday night on Old Frankfort Road in Williamson County. The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office along with the Coroner’s office says the car was going south on Old Frankfort Road when the crash happened. The driver’s name is being withheld until family members are notified. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday. The crash remains under investigation by the sheriff’s and coroner’s office.
