(SALEM, IL) — A 41-year-old Centralia man is in the Marion County Jail with combined bail set at more than $150,000 after he was arrested Wednesday night on bad check-related felony warrants in 11 counties. Jonathan Lingo was stopped by Centralia police Wednesday night. A search of his name not only returned a warrant for failure to appear in Marion County on a bad check charge, but also warrants in Bond, Clay, Clinton, Effingham, Fayette, Franklin, Jefferson, Perry, Richland, and Williamson counties. Bail for the Marion County warrant was set at $5,000. Many of the warrants stemmed from cases involving multiple counts of felony bad checks.
