Illinois Gas Prices Higher Over Last Year

(CHICAGO, IL)  —  Commuters are heading back to work this morning with gas prices starting the month of April a lot higher than last year.  The latest Triple-A Daily Fuel Gauge Report shows Illinois drivers are paying 36-cents more per gallon for regular unleaded than they did to start April in 2016.  Making matters worse for Illinois drivers is today’s average of two-42 is ten-cents higher than the national average.
