(PINCKNEYVILLE, IL) — Two men were arrested Wednesday in Pinckneyville after a traffic stop allegedly revealed they possessed stolen motorcycles. According to the Pinckneyville Police Department, they stopped 25-year-old Timothy Jackson, of St. Louis, for speeding. During the traffic stop they reportedly discovered Jackson was driving while license suspended ant that he was allegedly carrying a 22 caliber Glock handgun with one round in the chamber, an extended magazine clip loaded with 22 rounds and two fully-loaded extra magazines in a shoulder holster. He was also found to allegedly be in possession of a stolen motorcycle. At the same time officers also stopped 30-year-old Stephen Brasfield, of Ballwin, Mo. Brasfield left the traffic stop but was later stopped by a Perry County Sheriff’s deputy for allegedly driving while license suspended. Police ultimately determined that Brasfield was also in possession of a stolen motorcycle. Both Jackson and Brasfield were taken to the Perry County Jail.
