(MCLEANSBORO, IL) — A teacher with the Hamilton County Senior High School was escorted off the premises Thursday and is now under investigation by the Illinois State Police for alleged inappropriate contact with a student. Vocational arts teacher Chad Payne was walked out of the school on Thursday. The Illinois State Police said they are conducting the investigation into allegations against Payne, but can’t issue any further statement at this time. Hamilton County Unit 10 Superintendent Jeff Fetcho also indicated that he is unable to comment on the incident. No other information has been released at this time.
