Aaron Schock’s Lawyers Want Evidence From Informant Tossed

(Urbana, IL)  —  Lawyers for former west-central Illinois Congressman Aaron Schock say the government crossed the line when it recruited a staffer to inform on him.  The revelation came in court documents released yesterday. Schock’s lawyers say a former staffer wore a wire and tried to find evidence for the FBI.  Federal prosecutors aren’t commenting on the specifics of the informant’s role.
