James E. Boldrey, 45, of Aurora, Minnesota, and formerly of Mt. Vernon, passed away Wednesday morning, March 22, 2017, at his home. He was born July 1, 1971, in Mt. Vernon, the son of Kenneth Duane Boldrey and Charlotte Kay (Taylor) Lee.  On February 22, 2008, in Edwardsville, Illinois, he married Amber Jean Carrico, and she survives him.  He attended Patoka Grade School and Salem High School, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Patoka.  He worked as a Millwright for U.S. Steel, and loved spending time outdoors, riding dirtbikes, hunting, and fishing. In addition to his wife, Amber Jean Boldrey of Aurora, Minnesota, he is survived by his mother, Charlotte Kay Lee and Step-Father Robert Lee of Dix;  two sons, James Potts of Mt. Vernon, and Jesse Boldrey of Breese;  four daughters, Jaymi Kyle of Granite City, Hannah and Emma Stout of Aurora, Minnesota, and Diane Milligan of New Mexico;  two grandchildren, Kaysliee Kyle and Elijah Milligan;  one sister, Kim Richardson;  two step-sisters, Melissa Reeves and Melinda Clark;  many nieces and nephews;  and his beloved pet, Sadie. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; father;  a brother, Kevin Boldrey; and an infant uncle, Charles E. Taylor, Jr.. Funeral Services for Mr. Boldrey will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2017, at the Osborn Funeral Home in Dix, with Jason Webb officiating.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service, Thursday, at the funeral home.  A memorial service in Aurora, Minnesota, will be held at a later date.  Memorial gifts may be made to the Boldrey Family and will be accepted at the service, or by mail to the Osborn Funeral Home, P.O.
