Kirk Supports President’s Right To Nominate Scalia Replacement

(Washington, DC) — U.S. Senator Mark Kirk believes President Obama has the right to nominate a replacement for Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. In a Chicago “Sun-Times” op-ed, Kirk said any nominee from the President should be voted on by the Senate following a fair and thorough hearing. The senator hopes Obama chooses someone who can bridge differences and find common ground.
