(SESSER, IL) — Officials with the Sesser-Valier Community Unit School district have called off classes for today after they were alerted of a building issue around 7:20 Sunday night. According to KFVS-TV, the district contacted Illinois State Police to do a sweep of the buildings late Sunday night. Nothing was found early this morning, but the district says for safety reasons, classes are canceled today to allow police more time to investigate.
