(O’Fallon, IL) — A Metro East woman has been found guilty of billing Medicaid for work, when she was in fact on a cruise at the time. KMOV-TV reports Ann Marie Sheppard billed the Home Services Program for personal assistant services she never performed. Authorities say she was on vacation at times she claimed to be working. Sheppard was ordered to pay more than $34,000 in restitution, and spend five years on probation.
