(CARLYLE, IL) — Centralia police arrested three individuals on various drug-related charges following an early Sunday morning traffic stop on Broadway. The traffic stop was the result of a reckless driving complaint, with the 21-year-old driver Adam Halstead, of Centralia being arrested for alleged driving under the influence of drugs, reckless driving, and manufacture with the intent to deliver a controlled substance. Two passengers in the vehicle, 20-year-old Katelyn Owens, of Centralia, and 20-year-old Bethany Gent, of Carlyle, were arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance. All three were taken to the Clinton County Jail where they await the formal filing of charges and the setting of bail.
