Tyler Farr has been put on vocal rest per doctor’s orders. The singer underwent microlaryngeal surgery to remove a polyp on his vocal chords recently. As a result, he has to put touring on hiatus.
Tyler began experience vocal problems last year when he was on tour with Jason Aldean. He said, “I hate cancelling shows, especially the upcoming tour with my buddy Lee Brice, but I never want to give the fans less than everything.”
The singer also said the sooner he lets his body heal, the sooner he can get back out there and he’ll have less problems in the long run.
Lee Brice was able to get Maddie & Tae, Clare Dunn, Jerrod Niemann and Dylan Scott on board to fill the empty performance slots for the Life Off My Years Tour which launches February 4th in Maryland.
