HARRISBURG, Ill. (AP) — An Illinois national park will be featured on this year’s national collectable coin. The United States Department of Agriculture has announced Camel Rock in Shawnee National Forest will be depicted on the United States Mint’s America the Beautiful Quarter. The coin displays Camel Rock and a red-tailed hawk flying in the sky. The image was designed by Justin Kunz and sculpted by Jim Licaretz. The national organization has issued a quarter featuring a national site or park each year since 2010. Shawnee National Forest is one of five national forests recognized. The United States Mint and Shawnee National Forest will debut the quarter Feb. 4 at Southeastern Illinois College.
