U Of I Planning Tuition Freeze For Second Straight Year

(Urbana, IL) — The University of Illinois is planning to freeze tuition during the next academic year for new in-state undergraduates. The board of trustees will vote on the proposal today in Chicago. If approved, tuition would remain unchanged for a second year in a row. Incoming freshmen from Illinois would pay just over 12-thousand-dollars at the Urbana-Champaign campus.
