(VANDALIA, IL) — A former running back for the St. Louis Rams was arrested in Fayette County Wednesday night. According to Vandalia police, at 7:46 Wednesday night, police arrested 26 year old Isaiah Pead of Columbus, Ohio on an outstanding warrant from Bond County for failure to appear on a traffic case. Pead was also ticketed for speeding, allegedly going 84 in a 70 mph zone. He was taken to the Fayette County Jail where he posted bond and was released. Pead, who played college ball at the University of Cincinnati, was drafted by the Rams back in 2012 and played for St. Louis until he was released in September 2015. Pead was then picked up by the Pittsburgh Steelers later in the season and is currently a free agent.
