(Carbondale, IL) — Another Illinois college is banning the use of hoverboards on campus. Southern Illinois University Carbondale has asked students returning to campus for the spring semester to leave the motorized two-wheeled scooters at home. Officials say the move is being made for fire safety concerns. The University of Illinois announced a similar ban earlier this week.
