(Mt. Vernon, IL) — A woman in Franklin County is facing arson charges following a fire at a Mount Vernon hotel. Adriane Parke was arrested on Monday and taken to the Franklin County Jail. Officials say the blaze broke out last month inside a room at the Drury Inn and Suites. Investigators believe it was started on a nightstand. One person was hospitalized with minor injuries.
