Jim Allen Bourland, 83, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 12:24 A.M., Sunday, January 10, 2016 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois. FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois, with Reverend Tim Reynolds and Reverend Merle Fullerton officiating. Burial will follow at Wolf Prairie Cemetery in Jefferson County, Illinois. Members of the Mount Vernon American Legion Post #141 will conduct Full Military Honors at the Cemetery.
