(SANDOVAL,IL) — The Casey’s General Store in Sandoval was robbed around 9:17 p.m. last night. The suspect is described as a black male wearing a flat-billed black cap and camo pants. The Sandoval Police Department, which is investigating the robbery, is not releasing any information regarding the incident at this time. This was just the latest in what has become a rash of robberies in the area that began with the November armed robbery of FuelVend Express in Centralia. A suspect in that robbery was ultimately arrested and charged.
