Two Adults And Child Killed In Metro East Fire

(East St. Louis, IL) — East St. Louis fire officials are investigating a deadly weekend house fire that killed three people, including a four-year-old boy. Authorities say the blaze happened yesterday afternoon in the two thousand block of 43rd Street. The victims were Chantez Reynolds, a male, Kendra Williams, who was pregnant, and the young child Jayden Harris. Their bodies were found in a rear bedroom. Two other adults that lived in the home were not injured. It is not known if the home had working smoke detectors.
