(CENTRALIA, IL) — Four people were transported to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia Saturday night, following a head-on collision involving three vehicles on Blackberry Run at Route 161. According to police reports, 17-year-old Alanna Earle, of Centralia was eastbound on McCord Street and turned left in front of an oncoming vehicle driven by 32-year-old Nicole Lewis, also of Centralia. A vehicle driven by 41-year-old Christopher McCall, of Walnut Hill then struck the rear of the Earle vehicle. Lewis was taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment, as were three passengers in the Earle vehicle, 17-year-old Azlyn Roper, 18-year-old Alan Robert, and 17-year-old Brianna Cripps, all of Centralia. Drivers of the other two vehicles, and a passenger in the Lewis vehicle escaped injury.
