(INA, IL) — Officials at Rend Lake say many areas are closed and will stay that way until further notice for your safety. Closures include Rend City Wetlands Bike Trail, the Bike Trail from Spillway Rec Area to South Marcum Boat Ramp, River Road Foot Trail, White Oak Pond, Honkers Point Road, and Dam West. IDNR closures include the Big Muddy River Boat Ramp, Cooley Lane south of Casey Fork Sub Impoundment Dam and Bonnie South Boat Ramp. Please remember to stay away from flooded areas, and moving water! As of Wednesday afternoon, Rend Lake was cresting at a pool level of 412.11 feet.
