(St. Louis, IL) — Historic rainfall is on tap for today. Heavy rain and thunderstorms will continue through the morning, dropping six-to-12 inches in the St. Louis area. Winds are expected to be heavy, pushing 35-to-45-miles-per-hour at times. Forecasters say some of the crests will have surpassed all-time records, including the Great Floods in the early 1990s.
