(PADUCAH, KY) — Crews are fixing damages caused by storms in portions of Southern Illinois. Severe weather hit several counties. Authorities say falling tree limbs brought power lines down, causing hundreds of outages. The National Weather Service also issued Tornado Warnings in the central and western part of the state. According to reports from the National Weather Service in Paducah, a home in Mulkeytown suffered some structural damage. In Jefferson County, a home in Bonnie suffered structural damage. A funnel cloud was spotted between Simpson and Glendale in Pope County. In Williamson County, a tree was knocked down over I-57 near the weigh station causing some traffic problems for a little while. Emergency Management in White County reported 6 to 8 inch pine trees snapped and a machine shed roof was lost along County Road 1225. About two dozen trees were also snapped in Carmi. In Perry County, a portion of Highway 154 was closed due to downed trees and a power pole was reported snapped at ground level in Pinckneyville.
