(BENTON, IL) — A Sesser man is set to be sentenced in Franklin County Circuit Court on March 24 for allegedly having sexual contact with a minor. Franklin County State’s Attorney Evan Owens says 22-year-old Dustin Brasil pled guilty last Thursday to charges of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and child pornography in Franklin County Circuit Court. Owens says Brasil admitted to having sexual contact with a victim between the ages of 13 and 17 and possessing a photo of a child who was under age 18 showing the child depicting a pose involving the lewd exhibition of the child’s unclothed breast. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office investigated the incident. Owens says the Franklin County Probation Department will conduct a pre-sentence investigation.
