(EAST ST. LOUIS, IL) — On December 17, 2015, Thomas H. Schaeffer, 43, of Sparta, was sentenced on a one-count indictment charging Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine, Acting United States Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, James L. Porter, announced Friday. Schaeffer, who had previously pled guilty to the methamphetamine offense, was sentenced to 188 months’ incarceration, 4 years’ supervised release, and was fined $400.00.
